Welcome to The Green Room - the place where Heroes connect.

The Green Room is a closed environment and only paid up Heroes have the technological key to get in. So you are in a safe, open and honest place.

Here you will find:
• A simple way to make connections with other Heroes.
• Joint projects and business initiatives.
• Fee-paying projects.
• A route to quickly access top-level expertise to make you even better at what you do.
• Business opportunities.
• People you can hook-up with on projects.

The ethos of The Green Room is much like that of Heroes itself: the whole is even greater than the constituent parts.

Much of what happens in The Green Room is down to you and what you need from it.

If you have a live question, business need or business idea which would benefit from being aired in The Green Room, get it on this site and get some dazzling brains working with you. To do this, simply get in touch with Madelaine, with an outline of your question.

Any problems can either answered from the new “How To Guide” section within this site or sent to Heroes directly:

China ‘Comment’ for Blueprint
With China Design Now coming up at the V&A,  the recent new year celebration, and the Beijing Olympics, discussion about China has reached fever pitch. In our next issue we are running articles on Chinese architecture, urbanism and graphic design. We’re looking for someone to write an 800-word ‘Comment’ that challenges conventional wisdom on China. It could look at the current China-fest in London (how accurate is our image of Chinese culture?); urban development in China (too fast or too slow?); experiences of working in China; etc.
Now for the tricky bit...the deadline is 10am Monday 18 February; word length 7-800; fee tiny!
Please get in touch if you’ve got any views to contribute. Many thanks, Vicky Richardson, editor, Blueprint <vrichardson@wilmington.co.uk> 020 7549 2542 or 07734 054418

xx From Russia with expertise
January 30, 2008, 12:54:25 PM by Madelaine (Heroes)
A brand strategist/planner with knowledge of the Russian market is being sought to work with a creative agency on a large scale Russian-based packaging project.  Ideal would be a Russian / a Russian speaker / someone who has lived and worked in Russia for a while and understands the culture and consumer.

exclamation Goosebumps - a BT briefing Opportunity
December 03, 2007, 01:37:29 AM by Madelaine (Heroes)
We have been invited to join a creative agency called Goosebumps (www.givemegoosebumps.com) when they participate in a ‘speed-dating ideas briefing’ to BT on 11th December.  The Senior people at BT’s Group Marketing and Brand team have invited several key creative agencies to discuss fresh and interesting ideas with a view to developing commercial long term projects.  Goosebumps has invited interested and relevant Heroes to join this briefing with them – initially on a voluntary basis but obviously so that you can knock them out at BT with some innovative initiatives and go on to a financially meaningful relationship.

Goosebumps needs someone who has worked on brand engagement projects and can cite examples – preferably with visual supporting material.  The presentation to BT would lead on excellence in disseminating brand thinking through large organisations and delivering brand through customer experience.  Goosebumps’ ethos is about finding the ‘atoms of delight’ – the possibly small gestures that make customers smile and fall in love with you all over again.  This calls for a crystallisation of the brand in the most tangible way so that it can be disseminated in every touchpoint of the brand.  Goosebumps believes that a lot of brand definition work is too complicated which only serves to impede rather than to take things forward.

They would be looking for a Hero who would act as their “creative lead on brand engagement” and can support an introduction as being a specialist in the field of brand engagement.  Is this you?

Some notes on usage

All the functions have an output method parameter. This can either be "echo" (the default) or "array".
If it is "echo", the function will act normally - otherwise, it will return an array containing information about the requested task.
For example, it might return a list of topics for ssi_recentTopics.

This functionality can be used to allow you to present the information in any way you wish.
